The water sources for large-scale open-pit joint mining coal mines are diversified, the drainage structure is complex, and the related technical systems, process flows, and equipment systems of the water resources system have long chains, multiple links, and complex and variable characterization indicators. Feedback adjustment and optimization are urgently needed. Guiding the use and management of regional water resources throughout their lifecycle (water intake, distribution, utilization, drainage, water treatment, recycling/disposal) with a scientifically comprehensive evaluation system is of great practical significance for breaking through the bottleneck of inconsistent and insufficient water use efficiency in enterprises, achieving rational development, optimized allocation, and sustainable and efficient utilization of water resources.
This data set was collected at the site of middling coal Pingshuo Group Co., Ltd., and then sorted out on an annual basis to obtain the maximum water supply capacity of water supply units in the Antaibao Anjialing area, the water consumption limit of production water use units in the Antaibao Anjialing area, the supply and demand relationship matrix between water supply sources and production water use units, the distance matrix between production water use units and water supply sources, the water use fairness coefficient matrix of water use departments, and the statistics table of water supply cost unit price and cost coefficient of each water supply unit in the demonstration area. Afterwards, drawing on the theory of life cycle sustainability assessment, a dynamic tracking and evaluation system for the life cycle sustainability of efficient utilization of water resources was established by integrating five dimensions including resource consumption, economy, technological performance, social impact, and environmental impact, with a total of 19 inventory factors. The dataset contains a total of 579 data points and is fully open for sharing.
